Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) provides one-on-one patient care and OT treatment under hospital/state/federal guidelines in a post-acute care setting; supervises OT assistants and technicians; maintains ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient and staff needs are met; participates in growth opportunities within a national post-acute care leader; shifts include Full-Time (Monday - Friday) and Part-Time (Tuesday - Friday); requires licensure/certification and preferred CPR; degree from an accredited therapy program (or substantially equivalent) preferred; benefits and professional development offered.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or certification required by first day of employment
- CPR certification preferred unless otherwise required by hospital policy
- Successful completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program or substantially equivalent as determined by certifying agency preferred
- Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers required
- Demonstrated competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment
