Job Summary
Support the Therapy Lead by assessing and treating a specialist caseload of children and adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and complex support needs. Deliver person-centred occupational therapy services across diverse on-site environments including a school, college, swimming pool, farm, and forest school to evaluate functional independence in social, communication, employment, and life skills. Shape future development of Occupational Therapy services within a multi-disciplinary team while maintaining a Monday-Friday schedule with flexible working patterns and potential home-based administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy Degree Qualification
- Health Professions Council (HCPC) Registration
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Checks
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally be a Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
- experienced band 6
- established band 7 equivalent occupational therapist
