Job Summary
Occupational Therapist in a school setting providing pediatric OT services under IDEA to support students with disabilities. Responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations of fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills; developing and implementing IEP-aligned OT plans; providing direct and consultative services; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams; supervising COTA as applicable; producing evaluation reports; determining IEP objectives and service frequency; monitoring progress; participating in IEP meetings; recommending adaptive equipment and training school personnel and families in adaptive strategies; travel between school sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in occupational therapy
- Valid license as an Occupational Therapist issued by the Virginia Department of Health Professions
