Job Summary
Assess diverse patients across orthopedic, neurological, sensory, and cancer recovery cases, then develop and modify treatment programs to achieve identified goals. Conduct standardized evaluations, document referrals using logs and therapy boards, and provide patient and family education while incorporating cultural and ethnic factors into care. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams at conferences and report progress to ensure positive, motivating care for a high volume of patients. Maintain flexibility and organization to support daily activities for patients regaining independence.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Program
- CA Occupational Therapist license
- Basic Life Support
