Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services within an early intervention program under the Health and Human Services Commission. Responsibilities include evaluation, assessment, eligibility determination, and development of an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP); delivering direct services to families in home and community settings; collaboration as part of an interdisciplinary team; documentation and adherence to productivity standards; and ongoing professional development. Requires licensure by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners with current OTR status, a minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Performs motor and sensory-motor evaluations and contributes to development of treatment plans and family-facing services across birth to three populations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree, Licensed by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners, current OTR status.
- Must complete required hours for continuing professional education and ethics as discipline applicable.
- After employment, must complete required ECI State Trainings and LPS required trainings.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
