Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver daily occupational therapy services across infant through geriatric populations, evaluating patients using records, interviews, and observations to establish and modify individualized treatment programs. Implement activities promoting health and achieving treatment goals while planning therapy aligned with physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities. Provide direct therapy in various functional settings, prepare required documentation including progress notes and reports, and communicate patient status with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in program development, educational workshops, and clinical internship evaluations. Work primarily during days with possible weekends, evenings, or holidays as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on moving health forward.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
- Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years clinical patient care experience
