Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. Train patients and caregivers on skills promoting independence and productivity while collaborating with peers and making referrals to ensure comprehensive care. Work in facility settings with older adults and children across skilled nursing centers, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based care. This role offers full-time employment with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and clinical mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
