Job Summary
Assess patients' ability to safely perform independent living skills and design individualized plans of care. Implement treatment modalities, document progress, and modify care plans as needed. Educate patients and families on deficits, discharge planning, and adaptive equipment. Oversee care provided by designated individuals while maintaining constant alertness and adherence to safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires BLS certification within 90 days. Full-time day shift with flexible start times at SSM Health St. Anthony Medical Group in Shawnee.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, or related area as required to obtain licensure in state of practice
- Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment
- Occupational Therapist - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Occupational Therapist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Occupational Therapist - Oklahoma Medical Board
- Occupational Therapist (OT) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
