Job Summary
Provide evaluation and treatment for inpatient and outpatient diagnoses while supervising Occupational Therapy Aides as assigned. Communicate with nursing staff and other ancillary services as required. Maintain a current CA Occupational Therapist license, BLS certification, and Bachelor's degree. One year of professional experience in acute care settings is preferred. Community Memorial Healthcare is a community-owned, not-for-profit organization serving west Ventura County.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current CA Occupational Therapist license issued by the Board of Occupational Therapy
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of professional experience with both in and outpatient areas of an acute care hospital, including pre-graduate clinical internships
- Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
