Occupational Therapist - CHT - PRN

Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care with measurable functional goals, and treat patients while educating them on injury and progress. Supervise aides during modality delivery and general set-up, then re-evaluate patient progress to revise plans and discharge as appropriate. Document evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes within 72 hours using electronic medical records, ensuring accurate billing under Medicare, BCBSM, and other insurance regulations. Maintain productivity of 55 to 60 treatments plus evaluations weekly for the outpatient orthopedic population. Assist in developing protocols for common diagnoses, participate in clinic-supported research studies, and attend continuing education to develop skills.
