Occupational Therapist - CHT - PRN

Conduct patient evaluations, develop plans of care with measurable functional goals, and treat patients while educating them on injury progress and probable outcomes. Supervise aides during modality sessions and manage general setup and cleanup duties. Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans, and determine discharge criteria. Write timely documentation including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes within 72 hours of treatment using electronic medical records systems. Understand Medicare and BCBSM billing regulations to ensure accurate treatment billing. Maintain productivity by completing 55 to 60 treatments plus evaluations weekly for the outpatient orthopedic population. Assist in developing protocols for common diagnoses and participate in clinic-supported research studies. Attend company continuing education events and utilize the allowance for approved courses.
