Job Summary
Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care with measurable functional goals, and treat patients while answering concerns and educating them on injury and progress. Supervise aides during modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients and oversee their general setup and clean-up duties. Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans, reset goals, and determine discharge criteria. Document evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes within 72 hours using electronic medical records, ensuring accurate billing for Medicare, BCBSM, and other insurance. Maintain productivity of 55 to 60 treatments plus evaluations weekly for a full-time therapist. Assist in developing protocols for common diagnoses and participate in clinic-supported research studies. Attend company continuing education events and utilize the allowance for approved courses. Commit to the team's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative.
Required Qualifications
- Masters in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
