Occupational Therapist – Children with Disabilities

Occupational Therapist needed to deliver specialist OT services to children and young people with disabilities in a hybrid working arrangement based in Manchester. Role involves assessing functional needs, recommending and arranging specialist equipment and minor adaptations, guiding families through major home adaptations, liaising with grants officers, surveyors, architects and builders to meet assessed needs, completing housing needs reports, maintaining records and care plans, and working collaboratively with social care, health and education professionals to achieve person-centred outcomes. Requires HCPC registration and a degree in Occupational Therapy; strong communication skills and ability to manage a caseload independently within a multidisciplinary team.
