Job Summary
Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions for a full caseload while providing patient and caregiver education. Manage ancillary duties including documentation, billing, and scheduling coordination. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians to ensure cohesive care, demonstrating appropriate communication and supervision of support staff. Flex to other departments when schedules allow and may serve as a clinical instructor or participate in department committees. Complete the required 135-hour lymphedema course prior to employment. This casual, as-needed role covers Wednesday shifts and open shifts at Essentia Health's Miller Hill Health Plaza.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited program
- Current occupational therapy license in the state performing services
- Completion of 135-hour lymphedema course or planned completion of course (pre-approved by Essentia leadership prior to employment)
