Job Summary
Evaluate assigned patients using acquired information about functional skills and roles to prioritize needs and begin treatment planning. Develop evidence-based treatment plans and execute client-centered, culturally sensitive interventions that progress clients toward long-term goals. Collaborate with patients and families to identify needs, set goals, and provide written guidance to caregivers. Produce thorough, clinically accurate documentation adhering to Institute, department, AOTA, and Maryland state guidelines. Actively collaborate in interdisciplinary relationships, manage caseloads, and supervise affiliated students, COTAs, and volunteers. Maintain up-to-date schedule templates, anticipate staffing needs, and perform set-up and clean-up of treatment spaces while utilizing fiscal judgment for supply orders.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Maryland.
- Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of occupational therapy

- Master's degree
- Previous experience in pediatrics and/or rehabilitation and treatment
