Job Summary
Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function within their capabilities. Administer and write evaluations in accordance with departmental standards, maintain timely patient records, and design individualized therapy programs using therapeutic exercises to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination. Consult on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and proper patient positioning to prevent contractures, while instructing patients in self-care skills for meal preparation, dressing, and feeding. Fabricate splints and slings as specified by medical prescriptions to meet patient needs. This Registered Occupational Therapist role at Cedars Healthcare Center, part of Stellar Senior Living, supports a Full Time position with a pay rate of $50-$53/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
