Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum functional performance within community limits. Administer sensor-motor integration techniques, visual perceptual-motor remediation, and therapeutic exercises to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination. Design and fabricate splints, adaptive equipment, and slings per medical prescriptions while instructing patients in self-care skills for meal preparation and dressing. Maintain accurate patient records and participate in home assessments to support environmental design and positioning strategies. Requires a Colorado OT license, DORA registration, and one year of experience preferred. Full-time role at Cedars Healthcare Center in Lakewood, CO, with a pay rate of $50-$53/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
