Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels within their capabilities. Administer sensor-motor integration techniques, visual perceptual-motor remediation, and therapeutic exercises to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment as prescribed, while instructing patients in self-care skills for meal preparation, dressing, and home management. Maintain accurate patient records and reports, and provide consultation on environmental design and proper positioning to prevent contractures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
