Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to maximize their functional performance within community limits. Administer sensor-motor integration techniques, visual perceptual-motor remediation, and therapeutic exercises to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per physician prescriptions, while instructing patients in self-care skills for meal preparation, dressing, and home management. Maintain accurate patient records and reports, and participate in home assessments to support individualized therapy programs. This role supports Cedars Healthcare Center's mission as a premier senior living provider in the Western United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
