Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function independently within their capabilities. Administer and write evaluations in accordance with departmental standards, while designing and fabricating splints, slings, and adaptive equipment as prescribed. Maintain timely patient records and reports, and instruct patients in adapted techniques for self-care skills such as meal preparation and dressing. Provide therapy for neurological and sensor-motor integration, including visual perceptual-motor remediation programs and home assessments. This role supports the mission of Cedars Healthcare Center, a premier assisted living and skilled nursing provider in the Western United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
