Job Summary
Provide and direct resident rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting center, state, federal, and accrediting standards. Evaluate resident needs to establish effective treatment plans and coordinate supervision with all staff and disciplines. Participate in screening residents according to directed schedules, provide feedback on clinical issues to the supervisor, and perform necessary clinical documentation. Maintain complete billing records and participate in in-service training programs. May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis. This full-time role offers collaboration with nursing and clinical staff for stronger patient outcomes within CareOne's in-house rehab team.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current and Active Occupational Therapist license within the state of operations
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation
- Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings
