Job Summary
Provide and direct resident rehabilitation care, evaluating needs to establish effective treatment plans and coordinating supervision with nursing and clinical staff. Screen residents according to directed schedules, perform necessary clinical documentation, and maintain accurate billing records to meet center, state, and federal standards. Participate in all center-directed processes, provide feedback on clinical issues to supervisors, and complete in-service training as requested. May travel to other facilities on a limited basis. This role offers collaboration with a stable, in-house team across short-term rehab, assisted living, and long-term care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current and Active Occupational Therapist license within the state of operations
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation
- Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings
