Job Summary
Occupational Therapist in an acute care rehabilitation setting at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Float through various rehab units providing skilled OT services in a 1:1 patient care model, with duties including evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, coordinating with physicians and other health care professionals, and supervising assistants and students. Opportunities include mentorship, professional development, and exposure to diverse patient populations across medicine, surgery, orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, oncology, and NICU care. Typical schedule Monday–Friday with weekend rotation; emphasis on discharge planning and collaborative interdisciplinary care.
