Occupational Therapist-Behavioral, Occupational Therapy-Psych, Full-Time Days

Provide Psychiatric Occupational Therapy services to patients on acute Inpatient Psychiatry and Outpatient Behavioral Health Programs. Conduct OTR assessments, plan individual short- and long-term treatment goals, and implement therapeutic modalities. In inpatient settings, collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Director to establish a therapeutic milieu; in outpatient programs, work with the Coordinator and Director to ensure program integrity and participate in team case management. Administer direct patient care using occupational therapy techniques; document accurately; supervise OT interns and volunteers; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources. Prepare and transmit patient records in compliance with Joint Commission guidelines; participate in staff meetings, safety, and CQI activities; assist with program changes and safety initiatives as requested. Requires licensure as an Occupational Therapist, BLS within 90 days, IAM within 30 days, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
