Job Summary
Evaluate and treat physician-referred patients aged 13 and older using appropriate assessment tools, then formulate treatment plans and goals within the AMHC Interdisciplinary Team. Communicate findings via written and oral reports, support patients with education for growth, and plan group treatment sessions. Document patient activities in medical records, maintain equipment and supplies, and collaborate on collaborative treatment courses. Act as a departmental resource by mentoring staff, orienting new hires, and supervising students. Maintain current licensure, complete mandatory certifications including CPR and PPD, and attend required continuing education programs.
Required Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy degree
- Maryland Licensure as Occupational Therapist
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience preferred
- Experience with mental health preferred
