Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver daily occupational therapy services across infant through geriatric populations by evaluating patients, gathering data from records and team members, and implementing individualized treatment programs. Establish and modify intervention goals based on ongoing assessments, providing direct therapy in various functional settings while planning care aligned with rehabilitation, medical, and nursing plans. Prepare required documentation including evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress notes. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care. Evaluate clinical internships and participate in departmental program development.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
