Job Summary
Temporary full-time OTA/PTA in Neuromotor and outpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team. Administers therapy interventions under supervision; supports groups, camps, waitlist management; applies splints; assists with equipment; transports supplies; maintains spaces; documents as required; collaborates with interprofessional team; client/family-centred care; weekend shifts; position through March 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a college OTA/PTA diploma program accredited by the Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant Education Accreditation Program
- Paediatric work experience preferred
- Must have a minimum of one year work experience as a OTA/PTA
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to organize time, manage fluctuating clinical responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under the guidance of the supervising Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist
- Demonstrated initiative and self-direction regarding equipment maintenance, safety and cleaning
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families and members of the interdisciplinary care team
