Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) PRN provides coordinated occupational therapy to patients of all ages under the supervision of a licensed OT. Responsibilities include delivering services ordered by physicians per the care plan, documenting timely; facilitating ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment use, functional mobility, and safety for ADL performance; applying infection control and standard precautions; accepting assignments within education/competence; educating patients and caregivers; promoting payer compliance through education and coaching; participating in QAPI and ongoing trainings; maintaining professional growth and competency.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program of occupational therapist assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active, state license as an occupational therapist assistant
- Current driver’s license
- One year of experience as an occupational therapist assistant, preferred
- CPR certification
- Reliable transportation
