Job Summary
Treats patients as directed by the occupational therapist; records treatments in the medical record; participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings; communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director, and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans; participates in facility in-service training programs; records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedures and state occupational therapy rules.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current license in practicing state
- Good communication skills and ability to relate professionally to patients, family members, and staff
- Ability to perform responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
