Job Summary
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) provides occupational therapy services under supervision, treats patients as directed by the occupational therapist, records treatments in the medical record, participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings, communicates with supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team, and participates in facility in-service training. Eligible candidates must have graduated from an accredited OTA program and hold a current state license; excellent communication and the ability to relate professionally to patients and staff are required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current license in practicing state
- Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
