Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) PRN for multiple Houston-area locations. Treats patients as directed by the occupational therapist; records treatments in medical records; participates in patient care conferences and rehab meetings; communicates with supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team; participates in in-service training; adheres to corporate procedures and state OT rules. Eligible candidates must be a graduate of an accredited OTA program, hold an active state license, and demonstrate strong communication skills and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current license in practicing state
- Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
- Must be capable of performing the responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations
