Job Summary
PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) provides direct patient care under supervision, documents treatments, participates in care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings, communicates with supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress and plans, participates in facility in-service training, and records daily treatments in accordance with corporate procedures and state OT rules. Requires graduate from an accredited OTA program and current state license, strong communication skills, and ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current license in practicing state
- Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
- Must be capable of performing the responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations
