Job Summary
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will implement pediatric OT treatment programs in the home and community to assist children with physical, cognitive, sensory, and social-emotional disabilities or delays. Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans in collaboration with the occupational therapist supervisor, aiding pediatric and young adult patients in areas such as physical, neurological, cognitive, sensory, feeding, ADLs, and social-emotional development, coaching families to carry over activities into daily routines, designing home exercise programs post-discharge, and documenting care in an EMR.
