Job Summary
Carry out all therapeutic modalities and treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Transfer patients as needed, perform patient and family teaching, and provide documentation of patient treatment. Administer medications safely in accordance with policy and procedure. Communicate treatment responses, difficulties, and progressions to the Therapist and Physical Therapist. Maintain a valid driver's license for Wisconsin and/or Illinois assignments and hold current BLS/CPR certification. This role supports inpatient care teams by executing education-directed treatment plans and monitoring patient responses.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in: Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Entry Level
- Valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Wisconsin and/or Illinois based on job assignment location
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Wisconsin
- Ability to read, write, hear, speak and comprehend the English language
