Job Summary
Deliver therapy services planned and supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence from their homes. Assist in implementing vocational programs, design or adapt equipment and living environments, and fabricate devices to improve function. Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients and families regarding home programs and adaptive equipment use. Report observations to supervisors, document clinical notes, and participate in care coordination and discharge planning activities. This role serves patients across Monticello, Dumas, Eudora, McGehee, Dermott, and Lake Village. Candidates must hold current unrestricted OTA licensure and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening
- Maintain personal vehicle liability insurance in accordance with residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months occupational therapist assistant experience
- Home Health experience
