Job Summary
Deliver therapy services planned and supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in their homes. Design and adapt equipment or living environments to improve function, fabricate devices for community participation, and instruct families on home programs and adaptive equipment use. Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to improve strength, coordination, and range-of-motion while documenting observations in patient records and assisting with progress reports. Coordinate discharge planning and community reintegration activities with the interdisciplinary team. Requires current OTA licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license; pays $41.00–$57.00 per visit/unit.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Screened for TB
- Maintain personal vehicle liability insurance
- Vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months occupational therapist assistant experience
- Home Health experience
