Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures under direct supervision of an occupational therapist, following established treatment plans. Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care while managing orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff, including rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. Maintain current COTA licensure in Georgia and BCLS certification upon hire. This role is part of Piedmont Macon Medical's commitment to award-winning care across Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from an approved Occupational Therapist Assistant Program
- COTA - Occupational Therapy Assistant – Certified
- Current licensure in the State of Georgia or current compact privileges in Georgia
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- BLS certification through AHA
