Job Summary
Assess patient care needs regarding functionality, activities of daily living, and fine motor coordination to determine treatment plans. Perform interventions aimed at improving patient wellbeing and lead individuals in therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes. Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team on therapy participation. Deliver services in accordance with state laws and the plan of care while coordinating with the health care team. This role serves Santa Clarita and surrounding areas as an independent contractor with flexibility to set your own schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages
