Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Summary
Provide prescribed occupational therapy and skilled procedures to home health patients. Assess and develop plans of care, initiate initial assessment, maintain care plan updates every 30 days, and reassess as needed. Collaborate with physicians regarding treatment changes, participate in patient care planning with other home care personnel, and help patients return to optimum, productive living within their capabilities. Requires active OT/LPT licensure, eligibility for certification, and at least one year of acute care experience (home health preferred); reliable transportation is required. Monday–Friday schedule with weekends as needed; benefits include comprehensive health and retirement options.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by AOTA and/or certified by National Certification examination; eligible for National Registration Examination; currently licensed in the practicing state; minimum of one year in an acute care setting; one year of home health experience preferred; access to reliable transportation.
