Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy to restore patients' physical ability in home care settings, strictly following the treatment plan defined by the supervising OT. Instruct and aid patients, families, and caregivers in evidence-based therapy while observing, recording, and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the nurse supervisor and physician. Adhere to all state-specific laws governing occupational therapy provision and function in diverse home environments regardless of client background. Requires current OT Assistant licensure, National Board certification, and a valid driver's license. Full-time employment (40 weekly hours) with an annual total cash target pay ranging from $53,528 to $80,292, including a $2,500 relocation bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle
- Public transportation
- Certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to complete CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
