Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides OT services under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include implementing a comprehensive treatment plan, documenting assessments and treatments in the medical record, patient and family education, and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team. Role involves maintaining safety standards, contributing to discharge planning, and supporting community resources/DME referrals. Works on the Speech Therapy Pediatric team at Blount Memorial Hospital, with duties aligning to the department’s productivity and policy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (AOTA Accredited)
- COTA certification
- No experience required
- Day shift
- TB test procedures by birth month
- Supervision of tech if needed
