Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Assistant (Acute Care) provides evaluation of patients' occupational limitations and medical condition, prescribes and implements a treatment program to return patients to maximum function, works under supervision of the Team Coordinator/Clinical Specialist and Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary health care team to improve patient care. Requires an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant, state licensure, and CPR certification. Shift is full-time (Mon-Fri with some weekends/holidays); salary range $26.58-$43.89/hour. Located in Baltimore, Maryland at Johns Hopkins Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience preferred
- Knowledge of Acute Care required
- Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
- Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
- AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required
