Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits by assessing their ability to perform independent living skills. Design treatment plans using appropriate modalities, document progress, and modify care as needed while educating patients and families on adaptive equipment. Oversee certified occupational therapy assistants and technicians according to established regulations. Plan and assist with patient discharge, providing information on support programs. Requires Texas Board of Occupational Therapy licensure within 180 days and BLS certification within 30 days. Full-time Monday–Friday schedule at Ascension Seton Hays in Kyle, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Bachelor's degree
