Occupational Therapist

Develop and maintain rehabilitation programs for mentally, physically, or emotionally handicapped individuals using manual arts, prevocation, and daily living skills. Select activity programs consistent with patient needs to upgrade independence and prepare for return to work, while teaching techniques and evaluating progress. Coordinate therapeutic activities, suggest adaptive equipment, and fabricate splints or braces. Lay out materials and maintain tools after sessions. Participate in training programs and perform assigned duties. Requires an accredited college graduate and state-licensed or certified Occupational Therapist.
