Job Summary
Develop and maintain rehabilitation programs for mentally, physically, or emotionally handicapped individuals through manual arts, prevocation, and daily living skills. Select activity programs consistent with patient needs to maximize independence and prepare clients for return to work, while teaching necessary techniques and evaluating progress. Coordinate therapeutic activities, suggest adaptive equipment for work-living environments, and fabricate devices such as splints and braces. Lay out materials, clean, and repair tools after sessions. Participate in training programs and perform related duties as assigned. Graduates of accredited colleges with state licensure or certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist
- Certified as Occupational Therapist as state required
