Job Summary
Assist patients in performing daily living tasks, functional exercises, and mobility activities while ensuring proper technique and safety. Review and administer individualized treatment plans, maintain accurate patient progress records, and provide training on adaptive equipment and home modifications. Offer encouragement and support to patients and families during recovery, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This role requires a current state license as an OT or OTA with strong communication skills, with a preference for home health experience. Compensation is $150-180 per visit for 60 visits, with a flexible PRN schedule in the Cleveland, TX area.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of home health experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and able to foster a supportive environment
- Familiarity with Kinnser/Wellsky EMR a plus
- This candidate would be agreeable to seeing patients in the Cleveland, TX area
