Job Summary
Full-Time Occupational Therapist at Ahava Therapy Services in Clarksville, TN. Responsibilities include reviewing clinical information and evaluating its impact on the assessment and treatment process; conducting comprehensive functional assessments; developing and implementing individualized treatment plans; supervising therapy assistants; educating residents, families, and caregivers about exercises and procedures; collaborating with nursing staff and an interdisciplinary team to maximize functional outcomes; assisting with discharge planning and knowledge of community resources; participating in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives; maintaining clinical competence through continuing education; adhering to HIPAA and payer guidelines; and maintaining productivity and teamwork. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and an active OT license in the state of practice, along with BLS/CPR certification and strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
