Job Summary
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist needed for Adult Social Care locum in the Manchester area to undertake annual reviews and reassessments for adults and older people. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive reviews, evaluating existing care packages, assessing functional abilities and risks to maximise independence, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and carers, providing professional recommendations on equipment, adaptations and support services, and maintaining accurate case records in line with legislation. Immediate interview and start available; role focuses on person-centred, outcome-focused care in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience working within Adult Social Care services
- Strong assessment and review experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
