Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (HCPC-registered) needed to join the Adult Social Care team in Hull. Deliver solution-focused interventions to support residents’ independence, resilience, and wellbeing; conduct proportionate assessments and goal-setting conversations; provide practical support through equipment fitting, adaptations, and assistive technology; help individuals access community groups and universal services; promote self-care and wellbeing through advice, training, and social prescribing; collaborate on safeguarding reviews, case conferences, and best-interest decisions; work with housing teams to ensure adaptations meet individual needs.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience in adult social care and community-based practice
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Commitment to person-centred, strengths-based approaches
