Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed in Wolverhampton for the Adult Social Care team with focus on assessing and prescribing major adaptations to support residents’ independence and safety at home. Responsibilities include conducting assessments for individuals requiring aids and adaptations, prescribing and planning major adaptations in line with clinical and legislative standards, collaborating with housing teams, contractors and families to ensure effective delivery, maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning and reviews, and supporting service users to maximise independence and reduce risks in the home environment. Requirements include HCPC registration, proven experience in prescribing and planning major adaptations, strong knowledge of equipment provision and housing-related OT, plus excellent communication and assessment skills.
